Temporary Traffic Regulation Order - Peckleton Lane & High Street, Desford

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Bridge Construction Ltd on behalf of Griffen Park to facilitate remedial carriageway resurfacing works.

The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure and parking restrictions. The closure will be on Peckleton Lane between Peckleton Common and Wellum Way, Desford. Parking restrictions will be in place on High Street between Peckleton Lane and Manor Road and on Peckleton Lane between High Street and number 10 Peckleton Lane to facilitate the traffic flow.

Access will be maintained for the sports facility, residents and businesses within the closure extent. The restrictions are not anticipated to exceed a period of 4 weekends commencing on the 28th February 2025. Temporary Traffic Management will be required as detailed below: Temporary 3-Way Traffic Signals - Wednesday 26th February until Friday 28th February 2025.

Temporary road closure: Friday 28th February from 19:30 to 17:00 on Sunday 2nd March 2025 Friday 7th March from 19:30 to 17:00 on Sunday 9th March 2025 Contingency weekends: Friday 14th March from 19:30 to 17:00 on Sunday 16th March 2025 Friday 21st March from 19:30 to 17:00 on Sunday 23rd March 2025

During the closures traffic will be diverted via: High Street, Leicester Lane, Desford; Leicester Lane, Kirby Muxloe; Hinckley Road, Thurlaston; Hinckley Road, Leicester Forest West; Dans Lane, Peckleton; Peckleton Lane, Desford and vice versa.
